Job Description
Employment Specialist (Supported Employment / Case Manager / Job Coach) - Community-Based Seattle / Snohomish County Starting at $55,000 + full benefits Do meaningful work—out in the community, not behind a desk. At Cares of Washington, you'll provide hands-on, community-based support that helps individuals with disabilities find meaningful jobs, maintain employment, and build long-term stability. This is an active, independent role where you'll spend most of your time: Meeting clients in the community Building relationships with employers Solving real barriers to employment What you'll do Help clients find and secure meaningful employment Build relationships with local employers (job development) Support clients to maintain employment long-term (job retention) Assist with resumes, applications, and interviews Develop individualized employment plans Track services and progress (required documentation) Travel within the community to meet clients and employers Who thrives in this role You enjoy working independently in the field You're organized and can manage multiple clients You're persistent and don't give up when things get tough You're comfortable building relationships and doing outreach You want a career with real impact This role may NOT be a fit if You want a desk-based or highly structured job You dislike documentation or deadlines You're uncomfortable reaching out to new people You should apply if you have experience in: Case management, social services, behavioral health Direct support (DSP, caregiver, job coach) Sales, outreach, or relationship-based roles OR any role where you've helped others succeed No direct experience required—we train the right people.
