We are committed to hiring Job Coaches who embody our mission and who are passionate about serving individuals with disabilities in our community.
Ideal Candidates:
  • Are compassionate and caring but will also push each individual consumer to do their best and to be as independent as they can be. A great Job Coach works themselves out of a job!

Summary of Responsibilities:
Based on your availability, Job Coaches will be scheduled to work with a variety of consumers each week. Job Coaches will meet each consumer at their place of employment and will work with the consumer for the assigned shift (typically 1-6 hours in length). The main responsibility of a Job Coach is to assist the consumer to learn their job tasks, increase their independence, and also to perform general work expectations (accepting feedback, asking for help, working efficiently and with proficiency, etc.). In some cases, job coaching can fade (decrease) slowly over time, in other cases the consumer may need a Job Coach long term. Job Coaches will write and submit a report (template provided) detailing the support they provided to the consumer, after each shift.
