This energetic position offers the opportunity to deliver personalized care in clients' homes, fostering independence, safety, and well-being. You will be a trusted partner in supporting residents with a variety of needs, from medication reminders to mobility assistance, all while creating a warm and respectful environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary to maintain proper nutrition Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents diligently to ensure seamless communication within the care team Requirements Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are required; additional training in dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's (if applicable) Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous A compassionate attitude combined with reliability and attention to detail to deliver exceptional care Join us in providing dedicated home care that truly makes a difference!
