In Home Caregiver ameriCARE Birmingham Maylene, AL Job Details Part-time $16 - $18 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Patients with cognitive disabilities House cleaning assistance Resident personal care assistance Working with individuals with cognitive disabilities Assisting with ADLs Residential housekeeping Food preparation Working with individuals with neurological conditions Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support for a male client needing care Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM on an ongoing basis. Seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver with hands-on Alzheimer's and dementia care experience. Able to care and support a client in the comfort of their own home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting client with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and fostering a positive environment.
Responsibilities include:
Assistance with personal care and daily living activities and hygiene assistance Medication reminders/assistance Assist clients with mobility Companionship and memory care support Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes Preparing meals Monitor and document patient observations, noting any changes in condition or behavior. Support clients with memory care activities to promote cognitive function and engagement Facilitate social interaction and companionship through engaging conversations and activities Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care Must be dependable, patient, and experienced working with Alzheimer's and Dementia clients Join our team as an In Home Caregiver where your skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve!
