The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with developmental disabilities, hospice care, or in assisted living environments. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by helping them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Support individuals in maintaining their personal hygiene and cleanliness. Implement care plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home or facility. Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, including light housekeeping tasks. Collaborate with other healthcare providers in group homes, nursing homes, or home health settings to ensure comprehensive care. Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of hospice care practices is a plus. Familiarity with ADLs and caregiving techniques in assisted living or nursing home environments. Ability to develop and follow care plans effectively. Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and their families. Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the client's environment. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others are essential traits for this role.
