This vital role involves providing support within clients' homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, helping clients maintain independence while receiving the assistance they need to thrive daily. This position offers an engaging opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a supportive environment, fostering positive relationships and promoting dignity for those you serve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs and overall condition; report changes promptly to healthcare professionals Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized techniques and ensuring a safe environment Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to facilitate safe transfers and prevent injury Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, medication administration, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment to promote health and comfort Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and follow individualized care plans that address each client's unique needs Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging social interaction and engagement in activities Qualifications Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments; group home experience is a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications like HIPAA training are advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when needed for patient transfers or mobility assistance Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred for client visits Join us in delivering compassionate home care that transforms lives!
