Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to residents, particularly youth that require a variety of social, emotional, behavioral and supportive/therapeutic interventions. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children and possess the skills necessary to assist residents with basic living and personal care. Responsibilities Provide active physical supervision and support of residents. Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of medication administration. Supervise, observer, and ensure the security of residents. Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction. Assist with behavior management for residents. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties. Foster positive relationships with residents and team members while ensuring confidentiality and respect for individual rights. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles, particularly with children, is preferred. High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social or Human services field and/or education equivalent to a four-year degree required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation purposes. One set day off during the week, Rotating Weekends.
