Contractor Unconditional Care LLC Little Rock, AR Job Details Permanent | Part-time | Contract From $13.50 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Caregiving Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Direct support Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Contractor to join our team as we continue providing unwavering support to individuals who need a little extra care and compassion. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities such as washing their face, brushing their teeth, and getting dressed for the day. You will also serve as the client's advocate, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals who are passionate about caring for others and making a positive impact in their community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver supportive living services to individuals with disabilities, working scheduled shifts as part of a care team that ensures continuous coverage, including 24/7 support when required Assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, grooming, meal planning and preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, and light housekeeping Support individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving life skills related to personal care, household management, health maintenance, budgeting, and social interaction Coach individuals in decision-making, including identifying and responding to potentially dangerous situations and initiating changes in their living arrangements or daily activities Facilitate and encourage participation in meaningful social, recreational, educational, and community-based activities Monitor, observe, and accurately document the health, safety, behavior, and overall well-being of individuals in your care Implement individualized care plans and behavioral support strategies as directed Communicate proactively and professionally with families, guardians, fellow team members, and supervisors regarding care updates, concerns, and progress Respond appropriately and calmly to emergencies or behavioral incidents in accordance with training and organizational protocols Maintain strict compliance with all Unconditional Care policies, state regulations, HIPAA requirements, and CES Waiver program guidelines Attend required training sessions, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Must be at least 18 years of age Valid Arkansas driver's license and reliable transportation Must pass a comprehensive background check Previous experience in caregiving, direct support, or working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support others Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed.
