The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by promoting independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and well-being. The available shifts that are being filled are as follows: Weekend Saturdays 8a-8p Monday- Friday 3p-11p Weekend 7a-7p Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe travel to appointments or community activities. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, reporting any changes in health status to appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards in home care settings. Assist with dementia care, memory care, and other specialized support tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience Previous experience in senior care, group home settings, or home care is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with dementia care, memory care techniques, and first aid is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. A caring attitude towards individuals with developmental disabilities and a commitment to providing high-quality support. Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a comfortable living environment for clients.
