Certified Caregiver (Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Visions Senior Living at Apache Junction is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individuals to join our team and be a vital link between our residents, the nurse, and other facility staff. We are looking for dependable Caregivers and Med Techs to fill various shifts. We are hiring to fill both part time and full time positions. We are looking to fill in the night shift preferably from Wednesday to Saturday for the following schedule.

Wednesday:

7:00 PM to 1:00

AM Thursday:

7:00 PM to 7:00

AM Friday:

7:00 PM to 7:00

AM Saturday:

7:00 PM to 7:00

AM Responsibilities:

Our Caregivers are responsible for caring for our elderly residents and responding to resident calls in a timely manner - assisting them in all cares of daily living (ADLs), documenting and notifying RCC and nurse of any changes or concerns in our residents' condition, as well as all duties given them as assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.

Requirements:

Possess a valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate (To be eligible for an interview, please send us a copy of your Arizona Caregiver Certificate.) Basic computer skills Self-Starter and able to work independently Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head Good communication skills, such as being able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals. Including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner") Possess a love for the elderly Have a positive and compassionate attitude A background check is required for this position upon hire as well as food handlers permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test. Pay Rate will vary depending on work experience and attitude.
