Job Description

Shalva Haven Residential Group Homes Full-Time | Part-Time | Overnight Positions Available Shalva Haven is seeking dependable, compassionate, and motivated Direct Care Staff to support youth in a residential group home setting. Staff play a critical role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for youth with behavioral health and emotional needs. We are currently seeking male staff preferred due to current program and supervision needs. Responsibilities Supervise and support youth throughout daily routines Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment Assist with daily living skills, hygiene, meals, chores, and activities Provide transportation to school, appointments, and community outings De-escalate behaviors using trauma-informed approaches Complete documentation, incident reports, and shift notes Administer medications as trained and authorized Communicate professionally with leadership, case managers, and providers Participate in team meetings and ongoing trainings Maintain compliance with Arizona DCS and Title 21 requirements Qualifications Minimum 21 years old preferred High school diploma or GED Valid Arizona Driver's License Clean driving record Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card CPR/First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain) Ability to pass background check Experience working with youth, behavioral health, or group homes preferred CPI/behavioral intervention training preferred Ideal Candidate Calm under pressure Strong communication skills Reliable and dependable Team-oriented Passionate about mentoring and supporting youth Able to maintain professionalism and boundaries Benefits Flexible scheduling Growth opportunities Paid training Supportive team environment Meaningful work making a difference in youth lives To apply, please send your resume and contact information.
