Must be comfortable with pets has a service dog. Must be able to complete a weekend training day a Saturday 9-1pm

Shift:

Tue-Saturday 20 hours per week 8am-12 $18.00 per hour (W-2 employee) Based off experience. Seeking part-time caregiver for Male client with Spinal cord injury.

A application still has to be completed along with a 10-15 min zoom call with client Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Bowel care routine. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe their health status regularly to ensure safety and well-being Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Administer medications accurately following care plans and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintaining a safe environment Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning personal spaces and common areas to promote a hygienic living environment Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely during transfers and mobility assistance Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living, home health, hospice care, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient care procedures including CPR, First Aid, and medication administration Familiarity with working with spinal cord injury. Ability to monitor vital signs and recognize signs of health deterioration or emergencies Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and family members while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals requiring long-term or specialized care Must be willing to complete employment paperwork. W-2 position and weekly pay.
