Caregiver/Home Care Aide

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional personal care and support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance. This role is vital in ensuring that clients receive the care they need in the comfortable and familiar environment of their own home. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Provide medication reminders as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Assist with ambulation, mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home and to appointments. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes to Care Managers. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety while providing care. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of emergency medicine practices is an asset. Ability to work independently while following established care plans. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Must be patient, empathetic, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
