Job Title Personal Care Aide (PCA) Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Aide to support clients with personal care, household tasks, and daily activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing Help with mobility, transfers, and exercise routines Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing Remind clients to take medications Provide companionship and emotional support Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or mental condition Accompany clients to appointments or errands when necessary Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans

Requirements:

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred PCA certification or caregiver training may be required depending on state/employer CPR and First Aid certification preferred Previous caregiving experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and reliable Ability to lift or assist clients safely Work Environment Private homes Assisted living facilities Nursing homes Hospitals or healthcare agencies Typical Skills Empathy and patience Time management Attention to detail Physical stamina Problem-solving abilities Salary Information Pay varies by location and experience but typically ranges from $16-$20 per hour in the U.S.
