If you do a great job, I give raises! Hi! I am a male C6-C7 quad (full arm movement), injured 38 years, a working professional and I love to sing. : ) Since spending about 3 and 1/2 months in the hospital after my car accident 38 years ago, I have been admitted to hospital once since. Why? Because of great teamwork with my caregivers. As such, my caregivers remain with me a long time. The caregiver you will be replacing has been working for me for 14 years and is reducing her schedule from 7 nights a week to 5 nights. If you want to join my team, I need a caregiver every Saturday and Sunday evening starting around 8:30 pm or 9:30 pm for at least 2 hours, but may be longer. Flexibility is a must as my life is full and start and end times could change. Evening care consists of transfers using a Hoyer lift, undressing, cleaning, etc. You will be fully trained by a caregiver in all aspects of your specific duties. You need to have a reliable car, be physically strong with a strong work ethic and a good sense of humor. : ) I am looking for a long-term commitment. Experience and/or CNA certifications are a plus but not mandatory. Please have available 3 work references and 2 personal references. I have references available from current and former caregivers.
