The ideal candidate will have experience in home care and a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of your clients while promoting their independence. This position is eligible for a weekly fuel credit depending on the drive time. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy. Administer CPR and first aid as needed, ensuring the safety of clients at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in home care or as a caregiver is preferred. Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Ability to perform basic nursing tasks, including monitoring vital signs. Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Certification in CPR is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
