  • Mesa (East Valley Area) This role requires you to work with patients in the East Valley and surrounding areas.
Below is a list of patient locations within these areas:
Cities:
Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, Apache Junction, Fountain Hills, Scottsdale How it
Works Shift Availability:
Hours are offered "as needed" and are based on your availability
Flexibility:
You have the freedom to accept or decline shifts
Variety:
You may work with different clients and in different settings depending on where the immediate need arises. Per Diem PCA agrees and is willing to commute to the areas listed in this posting.

We are currently seeking a committed and reliable Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver to join our growing team.
  • Job Summary:
  • As a Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to clients in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to help individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with clients and their families to maintain dignity and independence while providing compassionate care.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Help with mobility and movement, including transferring clients in and out of bed or vehicles. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities. Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition. Medication assistance and monitoring clients' health conditions Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and tidy living environment. Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or personal care preferred.
Minium of 5 years' experience in a caregiving role or similar position is a plus (agency, company, facility, or related businesses). Knowledge of basic caregiving principles, personal hygiene, and safety practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
REQUIRED TRAINING
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. Direct Care Worker (DCW) certificate Fingerprint Clearance Card
