Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide assistance and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and promoting their overall well-being.
Duties:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes or care facilities
  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Implement behavior management strategies as needed
  • Support individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as mobility assistance and toileting
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care
Skills:
  • Previous experience in senior care, childcare, or related fields is preferred
  • Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical terminology
  • Familiarity with assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or other care settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE MET IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED
Be at least 18 years old Possess a high school diploma or GED Complete a caregiver training program approved by the DHS Pass a written competency exam Obtain a fingerprint clearance card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Complete a CPR and First Aid certification course Demonstrate negative results for tuberculosis (TB) testing We offer competitive pay rates, flexible scheduling options, and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
