Group Home Direct Care Service Worker Enoch New Beginnings Phoenix, AZ Job Details Part-time | Full-time | PRN $17 - $18 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Vital signs Interpersonal skills High school diploma or GED Meal preparation Direct support Group home experience Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Care Staff to provide supervision, guidance, and support to youth living in a residential group home. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment while helping youth develop life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve personal goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with all care standards and regulations. Duties Provide direct supervision and care for youth in a residential setting. Ensure the safety, well-being, and security of all residents. Build positive, professional relationships with youth through mentoring and support. Assist residents with daily living activities, including meal preparation, hygiene, chores, and transportation. Implement behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniques as needed. Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and medication records. Transport youth to school, appointments, recreational activities, and other approved destinations. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and treatment planning. Communicate effectively with house managers, case managers, and other professionals. Maintain confidentiality and comply with agency policies and state regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience working with at-risk youth or in residential care is preferred but not required. Valid Arizona driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass criminal background checks, drug screening, and any required clearances. Ability to obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional during crisis situations.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
