Full-time Full-time Job Type:
Full-time with weekend availability Your Job Summary A Caregiver and Assistant Caregiver are under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Nursing -LVN. The
ADON-LVN
will follow up with the caregiver to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
: At least 18 years of age A current Arizona Caregiver Certificate Ability to obtain CPR First Aid Certification Current negative TB test Must have a fingerprint clearance card Must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience either in a home, or assisted living facility Possess the ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours Participates in all assigned meetings, training, education and in-service as required
RESPONSIBLITIES
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Prepare meals and help with feeding as necessary. Manage medication schedules and ensure proper administration. Provide companionship and engage in activities to enhance the care recipient's well-being. Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment. Assist with mobility (using walkers, wheelchairs, etc.) and physical exercises as directed. Monitor the care recipient's condition and report any changes to family members or medical professionals. Accompany the care recipient to appointments or outings. Keep accurate records of care provided and any incidents that occur.
