Direct Support Provider /
Crisis Response Behavioral Health Worker Job Type:
Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Provider to support individuals receiving behavioral health services. In this role, you will help clients develop daily living and life skills, support treatment plan goals, and work closely with clinical staff and case managers. All services are provided under professional supervision. For Crisis Response Behavioral Health Workers, this role also includes responding to urgent situations, completing crisis assessments, and providing immediate intervention and stabilization support when needed. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group life skills training Support clients with daily living activities and personal care needs Follow and implement individualized treatment plans Document client progress and services provided Participate in client staffing and team meetings Coordinate care with case managers and community providers Transport clients to appointments and services as needed Respond to behavioral health crisis situations (if assigned CRBHW role) Maintain professional communication and teamwork at all times Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's in behavioral health or related field preferred) Behavioral health experience preferred (requirements vary by education level) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills for documentation Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment Requirements Must be 18 years or older Valid CPR/First Aid certification (required) Ability to obtain Level 1 fingerprint clearance Ability to meet physical requirements (sitting, walking, occasional lifting up to 15 lbs) Ability to work under stress and in emergent situations when needed #spectrum
