Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and personal care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts. Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism, or developmental disabilities. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Support clients with mobility challenges through proper use of assistive devices and ensure safety during transfers or movement. Document care activities meticulously in compliance with HIPAA standards and update care plans regularly to reflect changing needs. Qualifications Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as hospice care or dementia training are a plus. Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks associated with caregiving. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, or mental health conditions like dementia or autism. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
