Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Direct Care Staff Overnights at Desert Lily Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona ✨ Desert Lily Academy (DLA) is a residential treatment program providing female-specific programming in a normalized, trauma-informed setting that promotes learning, growth and positive change. Desert Lily offers an eclectic blend of academic, vocational, and extracurricular opportunities. Through innovative program elements and a model designed to address the unique needs of our young women, Desert Lily helps youth build bright and meaningful futures for themselves and their community.

$17.91 an hour $1,000 Sign on

ROP-benefits-and-perks-2 What you will do: This position provides for the physical, personal and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development; provides an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students; monitors and documents student behaviors and activities; participates and assists with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities; works in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student's treatment plan. The Night Coach Counselor position is distinguished from Coach Counselor in that in this role a Night Coach Counselor is responsible for the nightly supervision, safety and security of students and considered an entry level position. Typically reports to a Group Leader but may vary by individual location.

To be considered you should:

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Be at least 21 years of age. Have a desire to work with troubled teens. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Bilingual English/Spanish Schedule:

A Shift:

Sunday to half of the day Wednesday.

B Shift:
