Private Caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized, high-quality care to an individual in their home or community settings. This vital role involves supporting clients with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being, ensuring they live comfortably and safely. Responsibilities Check in with client several times a day, build relationship and monitor activities Possibly Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring safety and compliance Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, utilizing specialized techniques Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation tasks Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition promptly to family and/or healthcare professionals Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with memory care needs is advantageous Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Join us in delivering exceptional caregiving that truly makes a difference!
