Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and group homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. Prior experience in senior care, memory care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through compassionate caregiving and support. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor and observe patients for changes in condition or behavior, documenting observations accurately Administer medications and manage care plans in accordance with healthcare protocols and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Operate patient monitoring equipment and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Assist with transfers using equipment / mobility aids while ensuring safety protocols are followed Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light cleaning duties Support clients during activities that promote social engagement and independence Follow all safety procedures including CPR and first aid protocols to ensure resident safety at all times Requirements Prior experience in senior care, home & community care, hospice, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred Arizona Caregiver Certification/License is highly preferred and considered a strong plus. Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable; willingness to obtain these certifications is required if not already held Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Ability to work compassionately with clients experiencing dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with transfers using appropriate equipment Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; experience working in assisted living or nursing home environments is a plus

Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
