Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated DSP/Caregivers to join our team for overnight shifts from 10PM to 6AM. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time opportunities, this role offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will provide personalized support, ensure safety, and promote independence for residents in various care settings. Your energy and commitment will help create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where every individual feels valued and cared for.

We are also offering a $500 sign-on bonus for fulltime employees and$250 for part-time; terms and conditions will be outlined upon hire. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and independence. Monitor residents' health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall well-being, ensuring adherence to care plans. Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts, ensuring safety during movement. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and assist residents with eating as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning resident areas and laundry. Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies. Respond promptly to emergencies or behavioral issues, utilizing first aid or CPR skills when necessary. Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, or memory care needs is desirable. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for patient transfers and mobility assistance.
