Job Description

Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver Berkeley, CA 94703 $20 an hour - Full-time $20 an hour - Full-time Part-time Caregiver/Attendant needed for a 61-year-old visually impaired man living with cerebral palsy in his Berkeley apartment. He is a Cal sports enthusiast, enjoys conversation, playing some games and would like to have an attendant with similar interests. Must be a non-smoker.
Shifts needed:
Sunday 4:00pm-11:00pm Applicants who are currently registered with IHSS be prioritized. The successful candidate will be non-smoking, very reliable, and able to provide excellent personal care and emotional support. Duties include but are not limited to meal preparation and clean-up, assisting with dressing, personal hygiene, transfers between bed, wheelchair and commode, assisting with getting him through his evening routine as requested. Must have good communication skills, ability to follow directions, communicate in a mature manner, and become a compliment for other support team members. Any experience or knowledge of keeping a Kosher kitchen is a plus. Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19. Bonus paid for working a minimum of 4-hour shift on eligible holidays. Rate of pay is $20.00/hr
