Duties Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and independence. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness. Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans under supervision. Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe living environment. Monitor clients' health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members. Support clients with mobility aids and assistive devices to prevent falls and injuries. Document care activities accurately and maintain detailed records of client progress and incidents. Requirements Previous experience in home care or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Demonstrated compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills essential for building trusting relationships with clients. Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to safety protocols consistently. Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed. Knowledge of basic health monitoring techniques and medication management is advantageous. Experience with diverse populations including Geriatrics or individuals requiring post-acute or sub-acute care is highly valued. Certification in CPR or first aid is a plus but not required; training available upon hire.
