This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide personalized support in clients' homes, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence. Your dedication will help foster a nurturing environment while promoting health and well-being through attentive caregiving and compassionate service. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and patient observations to ensure optimal health management Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or assistive devices, ensuring safe transfers and positioning Maintain detailed care plans and document all care activities in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Experience Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient care techniques including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments is advantageous Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are required; additional training in hospice or hospice care is a plus Hands-on experience with patient observation, working with residents' (personal needs), and implementing care plans is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when needed to assist clients with mobility or transfers Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication makes a meaningful difference.
