You will provide daily care, supervision and training of residents (with developmental disabilities) as specified in the Individual Program Plans. This may include assisting, prompting and training a resident to meet their needs in areas of self-care, independent living, community integration, and leisure time participation, as well as implementing intervention plans. Positions available in the Los Angeles and La Mirada areas.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with prescribed medication, if applicable Complete required data collection and documentation Assist residents with meal preparation, planning and conducting of recreational activities Act in cases of emergencies, etc. Assist clients with daily living activities Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment ​

Qualifications:

Previous experience in personal care or other related fields, preferred Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Written and verbal communication skills Ability to take initiative Works well with others Works well independently Must be 18 years or older MUST be able to pass a background check Must be willing to complete any required trainings
