Job Description
Job Summary Provides direct care and supervision to residents in accordance with individualized service plans, facility policies, and California RCFE regulations. Assists residents with activities of daily living, promotes resident safety and well-being, and supports a clean, comfortable, and home-like environment. Duties Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and other activities of daily living. Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the appropriate supervisor. Provide reminders and assistance with self-administration of medications as permitted by RCFE regulations. Assist with meals, hydration, and resident dining services. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations. Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and call systems. Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining resident living areas as assigned. Encourage resident participation in activities and social engagement. Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures. Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times. Requirements Ability to work effectively with elderly and disabled individuals. Current First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain). Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed. Food Handler's Certificate Must meet all RCFE caregiver training and background clearance requirements. Shift FT/PT Day and Night shifts available
