In this role, you will foster a safe, respectful, and empowering environment, helping clients achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. Your energetic and positive approach will inspire independence and confidence in those you serve, making a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support. Implement individualized care plans to promote health, safety, and well-being. Engage clients in recreational activities, social outings, and skill-building exercises to encourage participation and community integration. Monitor clients' health status by observing changes and reporting concerns promptly to supervisors or healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, incidents, and client progress in compliance with organizational policies. Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies or behavioral challenges with calmness and professionalism. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving or related fields is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Physical stamina to assist with lifting, transferring, or repositioning clients safely. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to direct care settings. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, or aging populations is preferred but not required.
