We are a small, owner-led home care agency serving older adults and families across Contra Costa, Alameda, and Solano counties. We believe great caregiving should feel personal, thoughtful, and steady, both for the client and for the caregiver doing the work. What this role looks like As a Liora caregiver, you may help clients with: personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support companionship and conversation, meal preparation and hydration support light housekeeping and laundry, errands and shopping, transportation or escort support for appointments and outings, when part of the care plan safety supervision and support with daily routines clear daily notes and communication with the care team This is one-on-one, non-medical care in the client's home. Why caregivers may like working here: Above-market pay for the right caregiver A small, thoughtful agency where quality matters Deliberate caregiver-client matching Meaningful one-on-one work Clear care plans and professional boundaries Respect for caregivers who take the work seriously Owner-led, relationship-centered culture where quality is recognized and rewarded What we are looking for We are looking for caregivers who are: kind and respectful reliable and on time good judgment, calm, and observant comfortable with personal care good at following a care plan able to communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team able to document their work clearly and accurately Required qualifications 18 or older able to meet California Home Care Aide requirements before working with clients able to complete required onboarding, training, and clearance steps able to read, write, speak, and understand English well enough to follow detailed care plans and accurately document care able to travel to client homes in Contra Costa, Alameda, and Solano counties, depending on assignment needs Preferred qualifications experience caring for older adults experience with personal care experience with dementia or memory support valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if needed for assignment CNA, HHA, or similar care background is a plus A note about fit We care about our caregivers, and we also hold a high bar for reliability, professionalism, and quality of care. We are not looking for someone who sees caregiving as just another shift. We are looking for someone who understands that this work requires patience, consistency, professionalism, and heart. All work must stay within the written care plan, agency policy, and California home care requirements.
