Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient observations including vital signs, mental status, and overall health condition to detect changes or concerns promptly Provide specialized care for individuals with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral management techniques Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning or cooking in accordance with safety standards Maintain accurate medical records, document patient care activities thoroughly, and ensure confidentiality of all medical documentation Collaborate with healthcare staff, supervisors, and family members when necessary Assist in transporting or accompanying residents within the facility Skills Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize changes in health status quickly Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments CPR certification and training in emergency response procedures Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or memory impairments Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and families Compassionate caregiving approach combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple responsibilities efficiently Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or facility support is an advantage Basic knowledge of first aid and safety procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays Physically capable of assisting with lifting and mobility support

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
