Downey, CA Job Details Part-time Up to $19.64 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Working with individuals with disabilities Working with individuals with cognitive disabilities Intellectual disabilities support Working with adults with disabilities Working with individuals with intellectual disabilities Full Job Description Job Summary Seeking a compassionate, patient and reliable provider to help with personal care tasks and companion care for my 66 year old sister with cerebral palsy. She has cognitive, behavioral challenges, limited communication and physical limitations. She is unable to walk independently; high fall risk. Due to her condition she needs assistance with all activities of daily living. Duties verbal cueing and monitoring for safety transfers (sitting to standing, wheelchair to toilet, etc.) full toileting assistance assist with eating/drinking; monitor to prevent choking monitor for epileptic tremors Qualifications must have experience working with recipients with disabilities IHSS enrolled/registered preferred; payroll is through WPCS Recruiters, please do not contact this job poster
