This opportunity is especially well-suited for a pre-healthcare, nursing, pre-med, CNA, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or other healthcare-track student looking to gain meaningful hands-on caregiving experience. The client is mentally aware and enjoys companionship, but she has significant mobility limitations and uses a wheelchair full-time. Assistance is needed with wheelchair-to-bed and bed-to-wheelchair transfers using a sliding board. No Prior Experience Necessary The right candidate will be trained. We are primarily looking for someone compassionate, reliable, patient, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

Assist with wheelchair-to-bed and bed-to-wheelchair transfers using a sliding board Provide mobility assistance and repositioning Assist with personal care and daily living activities Provide companionship and respectful support Help maintain a safe and calm environment Light caregiving-related housekeeping as needed

Ideal Candidate:

Fluent in English Caring, patient, dependable, and teachable Physically capable of assisting with transfers Interested in healthcare, elder care, or caregiving experience Comfortable providing hands-on assistance Non-smoker preferred CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required

For insurance purposes, the selected caregiver will be onboarded and employed through a licensed home care agency.
