In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to seniors, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your energy and positive attitude will help create a warm, nurturing environment where residents feel valued and respected. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly residents while working in a supportive team setting. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to promote proper nutrition Use systems to document care activities, health updates, and incident reports Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids to ensure safe transfers and positioning Maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting with housekeeping tasks like cleaning resident areas and laundry Support residents' emotional well-being through social engagement, activity planning, and behavior management Drive residents when necessary for appointments or outings in accordance with safety guidelines
Qualifications Position Details Hourly Rate:
$22.00/hour
Schedule:
30-40 hours per week
Shift Types:
Variable - must be available for some fill-in, or urgent shifts This is a 24 Hour / Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Requirements 1 Year Experience Flexible Availability Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check

Empathetic and naturally drawn to helping others Reliable , with excellent time management and follow-through Adaptable and calm under pressure - able to step into new environments with confidence Strong communicators , both with clients and our care coordination team Patient , with a genuine love for seniors and individuals needing extra support Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of elder care practices including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or Hoyer lift training are advantageous. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Valid driver's license preferred for roles involving transportation or community outings. Demonstrated commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care that promotes dignity and independence.
