GentleHands Home Care About the Role GentleHands Home Care is currently hiring dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Caregivers to primarily serve clients in Fairfield, CA . This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality in-home care while helping clients live safely, comfortably, and independently. Caregivers who are open to traveling to nearby cities within Solano County and surrounding areas will have access to more consistent scheduling opportunities. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this role, applicants must have: A valid Home Care Aide (HCA) ID or PER ID registered in California Current California Driver's License A dependable vehicle with active auto insurance A recent TB test (within the last 90 days) Physical ability to lift and assist up to 50 lbs safely Spanish language skills (preferred) to support a diverse client base What You'll Do In this role, you will provide essential support tailored to each client's care plan, including: Assisting with daily personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, hygiene, and mobility support Helping clients maintain independence while ensuring safety and comfort Preparing meals and supporting proper nutrition and hydration Providing companionship and emotional reassurance Maintaining a clean living space through light housekeeping and laundry Offering medication reminders in line with care guidelines Recording daily care notes and reporting any health or behavior changes Following all safety, emergency, and infection prevention protocols Staying in regular communication with the office and care team Why Join Our Team?
