Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide exceptional support and care for a Autistic 26 year old in various settings, including private home, and community environments. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, The ideal candidate will be energetic, attentive, and committed to promoting independence, safety, and well-being through personalized care and assistance having Registered Behavior Training extremely beneficial as well as Direct Support Training a plus Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, when necessary. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining proper food safety standards Support clients with medication management Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Behavioral Support-Utilize behavioral training and one year experience in the field to effectively support with behavioral challenges promoting positive interactions Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Document patient observations, care activities, and incidents thoroughly to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations Must have own transportation as you will transport to activities, and must provide proof of car insurance. Proven work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are preferred Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing urgent health concerns Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with client and family and other caregivers Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those servedJoin our team where your dedication transforms lives! Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
