In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to residents in our assisted living facility, helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life in a safe, supportive environment.

Important:

This position requires applicants to apply and interview in person at Buena Vista Assisted Living, located at 1393 S. Buena Vista Street, Hemet, CA 92543 . Please visit the facility Monday through Friday, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM , to complete an application and speak with our hiring team. Applicants who do not interview in person will not be considered for employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.

Mobility and Transfer Assistance:

Assist residents with walking, transfers (bed to chair/wheelchair), and fall prevention.

Companionship & Emotional Support:

Engage residents in conversation and activities; provide emotional encouragement.

Meal Assistance:

Serve and assist with meals per dietary needs; ensure nutrition and hydration.

Medication Reminders:

Follow facility protocols to ensure medications are taken on time.

Light Housekeeping:

Laundry assistance, tidying resident rooms, and keeping common areas organized.

Observation & Reporting:

Monitor health, mood, and behavior; report changes to the nurse/supervisor.

Activity Support:

Help residents participate in recreational and social activities.

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to resident needs and follow emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

Compassionate, patient, and committed to quality resident care Caregiving/assisted living experience preferred (training provided) Strong communication and teamwork skills Physical ability to assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility Ability to follow care plans and facility procedures

Schedule:

Positions Available Shift 1: 03:00PM - 11:00 PM Shift 2: 11:00 PM - 07:30
