As a Caregiver, you will provide daily support to up to six elderly residents, helping to create a safe, respectful, and dignified atmosphere. We Offer:
A peaceful, home-like work setting Paid, comprehensive training (no prior experience necessary) Available shifts are 7am-7:30pm, (Wednesday-Saturday & 4 days off followed by Thursday-Saturday & 3 days off), 4hrs overtime each pay period and 11pm-7:30am 5 nights a week (days of the week Flexible/TBD) Competitive pay ($17.50-$19/hour, based on experience) Supportive leadership with open communication Opportunities for ongoing learning and career growth Rewarding work that truly makes a difference in residents' lives Key Traits for Success in
This Role:
Compassionate and patient Dependable and punctual Observant and detail-oriented Strong communication skills Respectful of resident dignity, privacy, and personal preferences Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
Responsibilities:
Provide direct personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation and eating Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds safely) Escort residents to and from meals, appointments, and planned activities Monitor and promote resident safety and well-being through routine wellness checks and observation Offer medication assistance as permitted by training and regulation; administer first aid and CPR as needed Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and room tidying Accurately document resident care, observations, and any incidents; complete reports and notify the Administrator or healthcare professionals as required Report any concerns related to health, safety, or sanitation to the Administrator promptly
Requirements:
18 years of age or older DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance (Live Scan) Current First Aid certification Recent health screening and negative TB test (within 6 months or within 7 days of hire) Ability to lift 20 pounds unassisted and push up to 40 pounds Compliance with facility policies and state licensing regulations Water Safety Certification- Required for at least one caregiver per shift (The facility has a pool)
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid California driver's license Prior caregiving experience (preferred, not required; training provided) Familiarity with medication assistance procedures Flexible availability for various shifts Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition or behavior accurately Apply Today!
