Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring safety and accuracy Monitor vital signs and observe health changes to report promptly to healthcare professionals or supervisors Support residents with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and maintaining proper nutrition Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control standards Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and keep detailed records of resident progress Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred Hands-on experience with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, or senior care is highly valued Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring is essential Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in group home settings is advantageous Familiarity with care techniques such as behavior management, personal care home routines, and use of mobility aids like Hoyer lifts is desirable Previous roles involving caregiving, home care services, or long-term care contribute to success in this position Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining compassion, patience, and professionalism Join us in making a positive impact by providing compassionate support that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
