Qualifications Home Care Aide Certification Driver's License Full Job Description Client Details:

• male client on hospice care
• 1 Labrador dog in the home
• Friendly and humorous but may become irritable if overly hovered
• Uses a walker and requires stand-by assist with all ambulation (fall risk)
• Assistance needed with bathing and safe bathroom use
• Medication reminders required
• Meal preparation support needed
• Application of topical creams
• Light redirection when needed
• Ensure he's comfortable, clean, and communicate any changes to wife

Care Requirements & Safety Protocols:

• Follow strict hygiene protocols:
• Wash hands immediately upon entering the home
• Assist with Shower
• Ensure client is clean and dry
• Encourage to drink water
• Provide hands-on assistance with Feeding
• Companionship
• Assist placing pills to client's mouth
• Apply oxygen as needed
• Repositioning the client every 2 hrs.
• Monitor and restock client care supplies regularly Care Around the

Home:

• Bathroom Cleanup
• Take out trash end of shift

Wipe Counters Mobility Assistance Requirements:

• Assist with walking
• Client requires full assistance with mobility at all times to ensure safety
• Caregiver must remain physically present and ready to assist during all walking or movement
• Encourage the client to initiate movement independently when appropriate, while still providing hands-on support
• Monitor closely for balance and stability to prevent falls
• Ensure proper transferring using gait belt Qualifications
• Active HCA Certification required
• Experience caring for clients with cognitive or memory challenges preferred
• Hospice care experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and attentive
• Able to work flexible shifts, including overnights
• Must have Driver's License and Auto Insurance
