Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Summary:
Detox Specialist are responsible for the shift-by-shift supervision of the client milieu and attending to client's essential needs while on detoxification protocols.
Job Duties:
• Completion of all basic Client supervision duties and/or documentation within Program and ADP timelines: 1. Client rounds on a half hour basis, checking vitals and documentation on rounds sheet 2. Responsible to read shift log at beginning of shift and complete their own shift log and essential tasks contained therein by conclusion of shift. 3. Complete new admission intake procedures according to Program policies on all new admissions (UA, belongings searches, paperwork). 4. Documentation of daily progress in client files.
Overnight staff:
to document quantity and quality of sleep in progress notes. 5. Medications for clients in accordance to Program and ADP guidelines 6. Administering detoxification protocols (completion of
CIWA, COWS
forms, vital signs, rounds) on all detoxification clients. 7. Possible Transportation of clients to appointments, meetings etc. 8. Crisis Intervention 9. Logging of new medications or medication changes according to ADP and our Detox Center procedures. 10. Filing, copies, other office duties as assigned. 11. Assist, teach and/or supervise clients with general household chores, cleanliness and food preparation clean up as required. 12. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. 1 year experience in being a support staff at a residential treatment facility, Current student for LVN or RN, LVN or RN, Current registration as a Registered Recovery Worker or Registered Student through
CAADAC/CAADE. 2.
One year of experience in a human services setting; strong professional references attesting to high degree of customer service, punctuality, and professionalism. 3. Ability to follow instructions clearly and precisely while experiencing multiple competing demands for employee time. 4. Current certification in First Aid/CPR. 5. Valid California Drivers License and good driving record. 6. Minimum of 2 years sobriety, if in recovery The job duties listed above should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties required.
