Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/Personal Assistant to join our team in Murrieta. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality personal and supportive care to clients, assisting with daily activities, medication management, and health monitoring. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering attentive, respectful, and professional care.
THE CARE IS FOR A VETERAN IN LAKE ELSINORE WITH 16 PLUS HOURS WEEKLY.
Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report changes to healthcare professionals. Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following HIPAA guidelines. Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs tailored to individual care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Utilize patient observation skills to identify any health concerns or behavioral changes; document observations accurately. Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids safely while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home environments, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia. Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA regulations, and medication administration procedures. Strong ability to observe patient conditions and monitor vital signs effectively. Experience working with residents who have Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or other memory-related conditions. Excellent communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfer or mobility assistance. Familiarity with care plans development and adherence to safety standards in home care settings. Pay:
