Whether assisting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, you'll be a trusted companion dedicated to enhancing quality of life through dedicated caregiving. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and support for mobility Monitor the residents' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe and report any changes in condition Administer medication accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Meal prep tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Support patients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts; ensure safety during transfers and movement Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents clearly and thoroughly according to healthcare standards Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable Certified in or willing to acquire CPR and First Aid; experience with patient monitoring and vital signs measurement is essential Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, HIPAA regulations, and patient documentation practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required; experience with Hoyer lifts or other transfer equipment is a plus Demonstrates compassion for seniors or individuals with disabilities; strong communication skills for working effectively within a team or social work environment Join us to provide heartfelt caregiving that truly transforms lives!
