This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for those with diverse needs, from elderly seniors to individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care requirements. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while developing valuable skills in patient care and support. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Operate specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids safely and effectively Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with health standards Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members promptly Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home environments preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA training, and knowledge of medication administration are highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's (personal assistance) tools Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care Join us in delivering compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
