Whether working in a client's home, assisted living facility, or group home setting, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, delivering high-quality care with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe and report any changes or concerns Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition tailored to individual needs Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in accordance with facility policies Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' quality of life in home or community settings Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes; familiarity with long-term care environments preferred Knowledge of care techniques including Alzheimer's care, dementia management, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly valued Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing signs that require medical attention Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients with mobility or transfers Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and supporting clients' social needs Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly improves lives.
