This role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals through attentive caregiving and compassionate support. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and dignity. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status, promptly reporting concerns to medical professionals. Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards are maintained. Support residents with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts, ensuring safe movement at all times. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, medication administration, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home environments with a focus on senior care. Strong knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice support techniques. Certified in CPR and First Aid; trained in patient observation, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans and work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, patient privacy standards, and confidentiality protocols.
