This energetic role offers the opportunity to provide personalized care, promote independence, and enhance quality of life for clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. As a vital member of our caregiving community, you will deliver attentive, respectful, and professional assistance to empower clients to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report changes promptly to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as required Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect client privacy Support clients with cognitive challenges such as Alzheimer's or dementia through engaging activities and memory care techniques Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Use patient monitoring skills to ensure safety during home health visits or hospice care situations Qualifications Prior experience in home & community care or assisted living environments preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize health changes promptly Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications in hospice or dementia care are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or aging-related conditions highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with families, healthcare teams, and social workers Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly impacts lives.
